Its meaty, earthy flavor and meaty texture give this mushroom the ability to be eaten in a multitude of ways, either accompanying or possibly replacing meat. Pasta and stir-fries are some of the most popular ways to fix Shiitake, but they’re also great in taco salads, hamburgers, and more. 

On top of being delicious, Shiitake provides several potential benefits to your health. Rich in B vitamins but low in fat, Shiitake mushrooms are also known in many cultures for aiding with weight loss, and controlling your blood sugar and pressure levels.
